I am a rockstar

I had my 3 month follow up today, and the dietician and nurse practitioner were very impressed with my progress! They said I'm doing better than their bypass patients! I've AVERAGED 16 lbs. per month in the last 3 months, and they said they expect 6-8 from sleeve patients and 10 from bypass patients. I am ecstatic! It doesn't take much to make me feel like a failure at this, so it felt amazing to know how well I'm doing. I tend to cling to the day-to-day numbers, so big picture is harder for me to grasp. I had been thinking I was moving slow, but I'm not. I feel like a million bucks right now!

Now, I'm off to the gym to burn even more fat off this body!

Great job!  It is easy to see things as not good enough, but much more empowering to see how far we have come.

i was for a second feeling like blah bc I was in what I thought was a stall, but when I look at my chart I actually lost 2 lbs this week.  Rather than being like ugh I gained .3 lbs today and mope, I went and kicked ass at the gym.  

Keep it up.  The hard work pays off and does make us feel like a million bucks!

You are totally rockin' your sleeve..it's a forest for the trees thing, right?  It almost doesn't seem real when you catch sight of yourself through someone else's eyes or in a window reflection.  

Great to get that feedback from your surgeons office and get some perspective!
