Ice water
I love water. That is mostly all I ever drink. (both pre op and post op) I absolutely HAVE to have ice in my water. As a matter of fact I pack my cup with ice then add the water. Here is my problem. Ice water hits my tummy and I become nauseated immediately. Anyone else have this issue? Im almost 4 weeks post surgery
Icy water has always been my drink of choice. The colder and icier the better!! After my VSG whenever I would drin**** water it was very uncomfortable. Now at 7 months it's gotten much easier to drin**** water. I still can't drink it like I could pre surgery but at least it's not completely off the table like it was initially. I'm hoping it continues to get easier as time passes.
I haven't tried ice water yet, since I've heard too many other people say similar things. Have you tried drinking room temp water? You might consider add Crystal Light or MIO drops or something similar while you're in the recovery period.
