NSV: Expired meds takeback events tomorrow

Not sure if there is a local or national drive this weekend, but we have several expired medicine take back events in our area tomorrow.

I will be turning in my BP meds, which I stopped taking two months after surgery (& haven't needed for the last 8-9 months). I'm not sure if they are actually expired, but I don't need them anymore so will be celebrating that by dropping them off and ridding my bathroom of all former meds. Yeah!

Awesome NSV! And very cool they take them back. I never know what to do with old meds. I throw them in the garbage so some archeologist can get stoned on them in 100 years when he's digging through our landfills

Most pharmacies will take them back for proper disposal.
