new member....what is there to know about vsg

Hi my name is deja and i am new to this i cant really decide between a lap band surgery or a sleeve....my heart is really going towards the sleeve......i am 21yrs old 5ft3in 248lbs.....bmi is 43.9.......i would like to know what was your experience with the sleeve.....both positive and negative......is the sleeve better than the lap band and why.....

I am suprised that nobody responded to you. My experience has been pretty positive. I lost 136 pounds in a year with the sleeve. I had constipation as my main complaint. The band has the lowest success rate and the highest amounts of complications. I am hope this helps you.
