Diarrhea and week 1 post op

I have had several days of diarrhea. Anyone experience that? Antibiotic and some meds have that side effect and only liquids for over a week. This seems opposite if everyone's else's poop issue!

It's pretty common to have liquid in yield liquid out.  I add benefiber to my daily shake to help firm me up.  

Yep. Liquid in, liquid out.  I had a lot of diarrhea the first week but after than it lightened up. I still had loose stools until I started eating softs. My first soft food was Cream of Wheat. That took care of the diarrhea. 

Thanks and makes perfect sense. Trying to up water intake to make up for loss. Didn't want to have the local headline read "women sleeved, ****s and dies"........,

For me, this was par for the course the first 3 weeks as I was on full liquids for the first 3 weeks post-op.  It does taper off once you are moved to soft foods.

had it for 2 weeks till I started eating solid food my surgeon told me to9 take Imodium, check with yours 

 then the constipation starts get some MOM while you get the Imodium
