Hi there!  I have always been more of a reader than a poster on this site but I feel like it's good to share the positives of this process.

I am very thankful to list the following as "fringe benefits" of being on this journey. I had my surgery on 1/28/2014 and in a little less than 5 months I've lost 65 pounds and gained the following:

I'm sleeping with my hubby again thanks to no more snoring!

I am currently wearing PJs that are size XL - no numbers in front!

I had room LEFT in my seatbelt on the airplane on our recent vacation instead of needing to ask for an extender.

I walked around Disneyland for 5 days without being in excruciating pain in my feet!

I have so much more energy!

I'm starting to feel like my outside reflects better how I feel on the inside.

I am definitely one to count among the grateful that I was able to embark on this journey and I need to remember that so I'm sharing with all of you!

WOW!  These are all awesome NSV's.  I remember how great they felt when I reached each of them too.  Great job and keep it going.

BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.

Way to go -- I understand exactly what you are talking about.  The small NSVs are so rewarding and sometimes can only be understood by those who have walked in your shoes.

Congrats to you!

Congratulations!!! I know the feeling.  When I first put on a size XL t-shirt, I cried.  It had been 8 years since I wore anything below XXL and XXXL.  I also just recently crossed my legs for the first time in years.  It is a blessing to be able to do the little things that we used to take for granite.  Enjoy your successes and may many, many more come your way!!!  :)

Awesome NSVs!  I can't wait to accomplish some of those same goals you have!  Thanks for the inspiration!
