Hormones

I am 37 and have been on hormones for almost 3 years.  At the information session, the doctor said I would have to stop them 2 days before surgery and be off them for 2 weeks after surgery.  I am concerned that I will be terrible to live with for those few weeks.  I have my consult on July 8th and surgery July 23rd.

Anyone else have this concern or experience?
