Do you cook with wine?
Contrary to popular belief, the alcohol does not all cook out. However, I still cook with wine and it has not been an issue.

I'll do you one better. I cook with vodka occasionally! And you're totally right that not all of the alcohol cooks out. I made a vodka sauce the other night (one I haven't made since before surgery) and I felt all warm and sleepy after I ate dinner. Strange because it never had that effect pre op!

I had that happen with a vodka sauce too! It's funny - I have a pretty well stocked liquor cabinet, but I don't drink and never have. I just love to cook :)
