So my surgery is Monday, and like most I have been on my liquid ONLY pre-op diet for 9 days now. My question is ive only lost about 10 lbs. Is that enough to have shrank my liver and made it more soft? Could they not do the procedure? The first couple days were really rough, and Im not going to lie I did cheat and have food. Guess im just having some jitters that my 10 lbs wont be enough.Any advice would b appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Why choose to fail, when success is a option?

You'll probably be fine, but if you're worried you should call your surgeon.

(I just checked my stats and I apparently lost 3 pounds during my 9 day pre-op diet.)

I lost a little more than ten pounds but not much more than that.  when my wife had her RNY in 2004 they didn't require a pre-open diet like they do now.  I'm sure that the liquid diet does help, but I have a feeling it's more to get you ready for your post open liquid diet.  My tree pre-op diet allowed one meal a day.

My plan just required that I be less than my first weigh in with them. I lost 13 in the two weeks. No one even commented on my loss as the nurses in the center weren't in the surgery prep

I lost 12 pounds in 1week of liquid diet.  I cheated a couple of times but it was chucky tomato soup.

I think you'll be fine, but it can't hurt to tell your doc.  I too think the pre-op diet is mostly about getting the mental state and preparedness for the post-op diet.
