Hello,

I had Sleeve surgery on July 7th and I was all liquids 2 weeks prior to my surgery..

I have now been on a 10 day weight stall.. Scales are not going down?

Is this normal?

I just started the soft food stage on July 22nd.. I am eating as my Dr. instructed...(6 times a day, every 3 hours) protein, protein... I have not cheated.. been very faithful!!!...

Can anyone shed some light on this please!!!

Very Motivated but frustrated...

This is extremely common. Look up the 3 week stall in the magnifying glass at the top right side of the page here. Keep following your doctors orders and the weight should start coming off again soon.

You're welcome! I think most of us have been on so many diets before having surgery that in the back of our minds we're afraid this isn't going to work either. I wasn't introduced to this website until about 3 months after having surgery so there were so many questions I had to just ask my surgeon's office, which they were fantastic about answering for me. Good luck! :)

Totally common.  Very, very few people lose weight in a slow, steady, consistent manner.

I stalled for 13 days from the 2 week mark to just the other day.  I came on here and had a panic attack. The vets told me to relax. Then the scale moved 5 lbs! You'll be fine!
