Straw..

I am 16 months post op...can I drink with a straw now or no....So many water bottles and cups have straws...just curious...but I will contact my dr. to find out for sure...but if anyone has an answer I would like to know...thanks in advance...

My NP said that if you can drink from a straw without getting air in your stomach, then its ok.  If it causes you pain, then don't.

Of course!  A straw is only a bad choice if you suck up a bunch of air when you use one.
