Back to Basics and Where's my Butt!?????????????? In a RUT
Hi all! I have a few issues and there is no better place to get advice than here!! Please reply if you can help me! #1.) I have lost 65 pounds, but have been the same weight now for 5 weeks. I need to keep losing, please help with a basic daily diet to help me lose more. #2.) I have NO MUSCLE! My butt is FLAT (it never has been) and I am very weak! What exercising will help me? #4.) My STOMACH is still huge.....seems the rest of me has gotten smaller, but not there. Plus I struggle with constipation. #3.) Has anyone had good results with Juice Plus? Is it just a scam? Is it really nutritional? THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR HELPING ME!!
First off what are you currently eating? How much do you exercise?
I'd recommend something in the range of 800 calories / day, 80+ grams of protein, 100+ oz of water, and 50-100 grams of carb / day -- focus on lean meats, green veggies, little fruits, daily... (some people will push you to keep the carbs lower).
#2) for a butt do squats & lunges -- also lifting in general is good for building muscle everywhere.
#4) you stomach will shrink when you loose fat -- you can't target a specific area
#3) I take a daily fiber gummy & drink a lot of water -- this helps
Juice plus -- I have no idea what this is, but I'm guessing it isn't a whole foods based diet -- I'd focus on real food.
Thank you! I don't exercise at all....but I am on my feet walking a lot 8 hours a day at work. I eat eggs, chicken, fat free milk, coffee, not much water, yogurt, melons....I got so tired of my protein shakes I cannot even smell them without getting sick! I have tried so many fiber pills/drinks, they do nothing....I am on stimulant laxatives now and they don't do anything....what about flax seed? Thank you for the information! It helps tremendously....
Are you getting in at least 80 grams of protein ... are you keeping your carbs low around 40.... you need to get at leas****er in ... at least 64 oz.... ... you can do this!!! As far as exercise why are you not doing any???? I work at lease 10 hrs a day between 50 and 70 hours a week ... and i still manage to get in exercise 6 days a week!!! On my lunch break I power walk today I did 3 miles !! Come on you can do this !!! You know you this so go for it!!!!! :-) best of luck to you!!!

Thank you Kelly Jean!!! My feet hurt so bad from walking at work, I could cry some days....I am thinking a bike would be best for exercise, less pressure on my feet. The water issue has been life long! I will start right now drinking more! Protein.....ugh.....I am going to look online for some protein bars or different shakes at least....
It seems like your diet could be a bit more varied. What, exactly, are you eating? Can you give an example of a daily meal? You shouldn't need protein shakes at this point to get all of your protein in.
