I am hoping someone else out there has the same issues as me with drinking Glucerna and Ensure...I don't tolerate Sucralose..so Glucerna is out..and Ensure makes me feel anxious and like I've drank 4 cups of coffee!  Is there an alternative product that has the same effect for pre op???

Premier Protein works well for me.  Unjury products are good. They have a pretty decent chicken soup with lots of protein and great tasting protein powders. There's a sampler pack you can try.

Not sure that is what the surgeon wants for a pre op diet..but post op yes!

My doctor told me specifically to stay away from ensure.  I guess you should talk to them for alternatives.

My husband drank premier protein and loved it. I drink them everyday too. I think their strawberry is pretty amazing. The chocolate isn't bad either. Good luck!

I am day 13 of my preop liquid diet. My NUT has me on Carnation Instant Breakfast in the blue box with half scoop of whey protein and unsweetened almond milk for the bulk of my nutrition. Then I sip broths, water, tea, coffee and Power Ade Zero in between.

Ensure has too much sugar. .. Try Muscle milk Light!! I've been back n forth between that and the glucerna hunger smart shakes!
