Well, it's been about 9 months. ..
Did your surgeon warn you how fertile you become during the weight loss process? Mine did and I didn't believe him. After all, I literally paid thousands of dollars trying to get pregnant with #1 and #2. Well, it's 1am and here I sit with surprise #3, trying to get her to sleep. :)
It was a great pregnancy. I gained 25 pounds and it all came off in 2 weeks. My daughter is 1 month old as of yesterday and I have recommitted myself to finish this journey. I'm currently sitting at 197 pounds and my goal is to hit 170. I was given the gift at a new lease on life and I don't intend to take it for granted. Now I have a new little cheerleader to help keep me motivated (exhausted and in dire need of sleep. ..but motivated none the less).
I look forward to being back on here and getting back into the swing of things.
Congratulations on your surprise! And I wish you much success in the continuation of your journey.

Congratulations that is so exciting to hear and have confirmed. My surgeon did warn and he also told me how he would should really be offering a sleeve as an option instead of ivf - even in Australia where he have very good insurance, IVF is way more than out of pocket expenses for a sleeve.
We were going to be trying now, but since I have decided to have a second sleeve done, we will be waiting until I get to goal (hoping for 6 months) and then we can try again.
Also great to hear that your 25lbs came off quickly too.
I can't wait to have our #1 :D
