Today is the Day!

I'm getting sleeved today! I'm excited and nervous and a little scared. I haven't been able to sleep since 4:30am. My surgery is at 10:30am! I've been reading the boards to remind myself that this is will be a positive experience and wonderful things will happen in the future.

The last 2 weeks have been 2 shakes a day with one meal. I've only been really good at that since last Thursday. Altogether, I've lost 8 lbs since starting. I was hoping for more, but its more than nothing. Yesterday was clear liquids all day. I drank water, beef broth and an entire Isopure. I was surprised that I wasn't super hungry and I didn't have any major cravings. That makes me feel a lot better about the upcoming week of clear liquids.

Since I woke up this morning, I would love to have glass of water, but I can't! NOTHING BY MOUTH they said! I won't be able to consume anything until tomorrow! I'm not sure why that's what I'm worried about, but I will take my Chapstick and pray for the best!

I'm going to take some before photos, record my measurements and jump in the shower. Because today is the first day of the rest of my life!!!
