light headed/Dizzy
I'm 8 months post-op and have been doing great. I have not had any real problems and the little ones I've had were very short lived. However, over the last month or so, I get short dizzy or light headed spells. Mostly when getting up from a sitting position but once in while it occurs when I'm already standing.
Anyone experience this?

Check you blood pressure, it might be low.
If not, consider your salt balance. Too little salt can induce similar effects. Over drinking water is generally the cause. A common occurrence around here though many don't realize it.
Those are the only two I know of but I'm sure there are other causes to investigate.

Google NSNG and learn the right way to eat each day
Yes,
I've been feeling dizzy - both a little unsteady and sometimes the room-spinning dizziness. I did notice my blood pressure has been lower since I've lost so much weight. I hope it passes with time. I wonder if it could be low blood sugar, because one day I had some carbs and the dizziness subsided for a few days. Carbs trigger cravings for me, so I've been very careful about keeping my carbs down, but I may have to rethink that.
best wishes,
Carol

Thanks. This is helpful. I didn't know the connection between low carb and low blood pressure. I do know that I retain water when I eat carbs. If I eat a piece of bread or a croissant , I'll weigh 2 pounds more the next day, and it will take a few days to get the weight back down.

In addition to other comments which you can check, you need to have enough carbs in your diet for energy. Your body uses carbs when you exercise, to stabilise your mood and when you think and need to solve complex problems. I understand that lots of people post op live very succesfully with a low carb diet, I am not knocking that option. You may be different.
You may also just generally not be getting enough energy (calories) over the day.
Make sure you are getting enough of all of your nutrients to give you enough energy for the type of lifestyle you have.
