Another NSV

So, one of my goals after weight loss is to be able to walk into one of the many little dress shops that line the streets of NYC. In my neighborhood is a little European shop that has clothes for women, men, and children. I always walk by it on the way to the grocery store, and just gaze at the cute little dresses. So yesterday I decided to go in to look at sweaters for my honey. As I l went thru the sweaters I noticed that the men's clothes went up to size 6XL. I commented that they sell large sizes. The associate said yes and that they have plus sizes for women. (This doesn't necessarily mean they have my size.) So I looked at some of the dresses, they had European sizes, so I asked what the size equaled to in American. She told me and also assured me they had my size and then asked if I was a size 16 . Can you believe she eyeballed me and thinks I wear a 16!!!!! She maybe true but I'm still wearing my presurgery clothes 22, 20, 18's. Most are getting too big. I'm holding out on shopping until they start falling off me.

I'm currently in a holding pattern for the scale but know that the inches are still falling off and am happy.

It's going to be such a great NSV when you can just waltz in there and get whatever you want.  We'll insist on pictures! :-) 

I think it takes longer for our mind to adjust to see our new body size. So nice when other people can see how small we are even if we can't see it ourselves!

Great NSV!  Being able to shop in more stores is both awesome and scary.  :)
