Not Sure Where I Saw This...
I teach high school and one of our health science teachers asked if I'd be willing to talk about having VSG surgery in January. I saw a post that had a link to an article on one of the forums here about diets. I wanted to quote it but I can't find it.
The article talked about how diets don't work. That the vast majority gain all the weight back. They went on to talk about how the researchers didn't want to tell people dieting didn't work.
Anyone remember it?
I don't know about any specific quotes, but I was give a booklet prior to surgery during an information session that tells all about that. On the cover it says "Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery" and it appears "Realize" is it's producer. It is 75 pages long. It is very good at explaining the surgeries and lots of details of the what if's and why's. If you can't find one, let me know and I'll try to get one to you. Merry Christmas!
