Late post - 8 month check in - Pic
Hey All and Merry Christmas to everyone! My 8 months was on 12/4, so I am a little late! I have not posted in about a month and a half. Been beyond busy at work, but it paid off - as I was promoted! Woo hoo! Last time I checked in, I was getting back to the basics and trying to get back on the "straight and narrow" with eating. I have lost 4 lbs this month, which I am very happy with! Weight lose def slowed down for me right at that 6 month mark. But I got to keep grinding to get the rest off. 18 more lbs to Dr goal, and a total of 80 lbs lost so far! I did not do a pre-surgery liquid diet, as it was not required by my surgeon. For the newbies and pre-surg folks, this was one of the best decisions I have ever made for my self! I am so much happier, confident, feel better emotionally and physically! It has been harder to stay on track since the 6 month mark, as that is when I noticed a capacity change and strayed away from the plan. I still have great restriction, even when I do not eat well. But we all know, with the bads foods, we do not need much of it to pack calories! I would strongly suggest to stay 100% on plan! Once you slip a little, it is very hard to get back on track. The pics below are from last Xmas (268 lbs) and today (188 lbs). My 5 yr old took the one from today, so its not the clearest :)
Edited to add: I started out wearing a size 22 pants and am now wearing a size 14 and sometimes a 12 depending on the pants :) I am 5'8.
Wow :-) you look amazing, I hope I can be as successful as you :-) Hope you have had a very Merry Christmas !!!!
