So I am about 8 weeks out from my sleeve and now getting dry heaves. It lasts sometimes only during the morning. And sometimes all day long. I am taking Zofran right now but it isn't helping much. Is this something that is normal. I am waiting for authorization for an upper GI to check to see if something isn't right. I still am taking in liquids only and having a bite here and there of real food. Please give any advice you guys have!

Thanks!

Not normal.  It sounds like you are following up with your Dr.  Good choice.

Update: my Upper gi was horrid! I hope i never have to do that again. Because i had been previously banded, there is a "hook" in my sleeve which when irritated could cause the dry heaving. All is well NOW. :)
