Anyone have a fleur de lis panniculectomy (stomach skin removal) - no muscle tightening and a brachiplasty (arm lift)? if so what was your experience, healing time, scars, etc. I am getting this done and getting nervous! Ive lost a total of 170 lbs - 130 since surgery on 02/05/14

I had it July 2013 they removed 10 lbs.  it hurt like heck! And I honestly thought I prepared for it, the scars are there but I think adjusting to not having a tummy is harder to deal with.

I have always been over weight until I had my band in 2006 so my skin was the last of the old me. It took me nearly a month to start to start to feel normals and I had my drains for a month.

Yesterday I had a revision to replace my port with a lower profile one, tighten the muscles and some more trimming of the skin.

I decided to go back for the muscles because after I ate or drank I looked pregnant if I did not actively suck in my tummy.

recovery so far is a million times easier than last time.

Good luck!!
