how many calories and geriatric smelling urine?

Hi OH fam.

I am 3.5 months post op and enjoying the sleeve!

Question:

Anyone suffer from geriatric smelling urine from time to time. I get my 64+ oz of water daily so I'm confused. I can smell it and it really bothers me.

How many calories are you eating at 3.5-4 months post op. My diesticians being kind of vague.

You might want to work on increasing your water even more. Recommendations aren't always one size fits all!

My plan doesn't call for calorie counting - I focus on getting my protein in (60+ grams a day), eating three meals a day, and not eating more than 4 ounces at a time.

I'm the same as Gwen. My plan is to get at least 60 grams of protein, 3 meals a day, 3 protein drinks in between meals, and lots of water. I eat 2-3 ounces of dense protein at a time. I keep track of my calories, because MFP does, and I'm usually between 700-1000, but I don't really monitor it.

Our plan calls for 600-800 calories during the weight loss phase (600 is better so they say) - 60 grams of protein or more and at least 8 glasses of water a day. Maintenance calories I think they said 1200-1500.

My nutritionist would not give me a calorie goal either. I ended up usually around 800 at that point I believe.

6'3" tall, male.

Highest weight was 475. RNY on 08/21/12. Current weight: 198.
