Surprised how easy it is to eat out with Sleeve :-)
Before my surgery two months ago, I really worried about eating out post-op with my Sleeve. I am surprised and amazed at how easy, and still enjoyable it is. I will normally order soup or fish & vegetables. I eat slowly and if people ask why I don't eat more, I just say I eat a lot less now than I used to (I have not told people that I had VSG). I enjoy the small amount I eat, and I don't crave to eat what others are eating. So amazing!! And I seem to always find something. Our 5-year-old granddaughter is staying with us a few days. We took her to an amusement park. When it was lunchtime, although I did have a Protein Drink in a cooler in the car, I was actually able to find soup there and didn't have to go back to the car. I DO love my Sleeve! :-) Kay

I have found the same - that eating out is very easy. (And I can always get cheese sticks from Wawa if I'm desperate.)
I do, sometimes, have a hard time getting through all the leftovers... So I try not to eat out that often!

I have the same problem! There are lots of things I can get that I like, but I often have enough for two extra meals from the leftovers!

Ditto :D And, right now, since I'm only home for 2 days at a time, I'm not actually home long enough to eat everything. I hate throwing food out but.. oh well :/

It really surprised me too. I ate out for the first time yesterday. It was easy to find something on plan. I just hated paying that much to eat so little. The good news is I have food for at least two more meals lol.

I love eating out too! But beware of the hidden calories because of how the food is prepped.
