great post and so true.  When I cook....leftovers for days, when I eat out.....leftovers for days.  BUT I LOVE THIS.

I went out to Texas Roadhouse last night. I ordered off the kids menu; mini steak tips with mushrooms/onions on side and fries that came with it. I ate maybe 2 oz meat, 2 mushroom slices/onion pieces and about 5 fries. I also had a corner (very, very small corner) of that delicious bread. I was stuffed, had hubby eat rest of my meal and I only paid $4.99. The steak was delicious, cooked just perfect - juicy and tender.

We get a card from our WL center that explains to the restaurant that I've had a stomach surgery and to allow me to either share a meal or order off of a smaller portions menu/kids menu. Thankfully, I didn't have to pull that out. I just said, "I need to order off of the kids menu" and there was no problem.

Glad you are finding ways to make the sleeve work for you in real life!

I agree with you! I ate out last night & now I don't have to cook dinner tonight! I have leftovers for myself and my mother!!

Leaving for vacay Tuesday & there will be more eating out than usual, but I feel like I have a good game plan and like you I eat slowly!!
