wondering when I can have a very small amount of olive oil post sleeve.  I am in week 3 and can have a little bit of a red potato.  Would be nice if I could cook it in a small amount of olive oil.

I've used olive oil and coconut oil for cooking since I left full liquids..

(And I eat potatoes from time to time - I avoid refined/processed carbs, but I see no reason to avoid healthy plants.)

If you plan allows solad food at that stage the oil would be ok but  potatoes and olive oil are both not a good choice you need to eat protien and at 3 weeks you will not have any room for carbs or fats

Potatos are what made us fat.  Don't get back into that habit. When you can have a little salad put some EVOO on it with a little s&p.  Don't start with the starches. You will be sorry

For the first three years, I did not touch rice, potatoes, cereal, flour, pasta, noodles, bread or sugar.  I was certainly allowed those things on my plan, but still chose not to eat them.  I know they make people fat and I gave up.  At almost eight years out I eat very small amounts of those foods, but still would not eat a potato cooked in olive oil.
