So this isn't so much a "before and after" as a "before and during!" I'm being brave and posting these on the internet. Yikes. But these are the pictures where you can most easily see my weight loss, so... here we go.

Start weight: 600 pounds (yes, really)

Lost on my own pre-surgery: 111.8 pounds

Lost since surgery on 3/28/15: 39.6 pounds

For anyone wondering, the watermark is the username I use on Tumblr and YouTube. On Tumblr I post updates on my weight loss, healthy recipes, etc. On YouTube I just started posting weekly post-op VSG updates.

I've been a little disappointed with all the stalls I've been experiencing, but hopefully if I'm just patient all this work will continue paying off in spades. :)

Good for you for posting your photos.  You've made great progress, and your post reflects your determination to be successful.  It's great that your tackling your weight now, while you're still young.  I wish I had done it years ago - would have saved myself a lot of physical and mental pain.

You are doing amazing.  Just take it one day at a time and before you know it you will be at goal and feeling so much healthier.
