3 months post op...finally below 200lbs
Hello, everyone! I just wanted to share as I am super excited. Before my sugery my heaviest weight was 258lbs and that was the day that I gave birth to my last child. After having him, I struggled with getting the weight off. I was 158lbs the day I found out I was pregnant, so yes I gained 100lbs in 9 months. I got down a little, gained it back, down again, gained again. It was very frustrating and I was so depressed. Finally I decided after contemplating for 5 years to have VSG. I was 257lbs on the day I met with my surgeon, 1lb less than my highest weight ever. The day of my surgery I was 242lbs. Now at 3 months 3 days post op I am 199.7lbs. I finally believe that I will get back to my pre pregnancy weight 10 years after the pregnancy. I just wanted to share. Have a great day, everyone.
