It has been 7 days since I had my vertical sleeve. My recovery has been very good. Pain has been very manageable and I have had no pain reliever of any kind after day 2. My incisions are dry and the skin glue is flaking and itching, so I will be glad for that to pass.  I am very sick of protein shakes and am very much looking forward to when I can get my protein from other sources. I have been walking 1 mile a day since day 4. I feel like I chase fluid all day long, but have a schedule going and manage to get my amount in. I feel remarkably well and have been cleared to return to work tomorrow Yay!!

Sounds like you are off to a great start! My incisions are flaking and itching too, and I am looking forward to something other than broth and protein shakes. Glad you are feeling so well, but after only a week I cannot imagine going back to work yet I am still needing to nap and rest at times during the day.

I wish I was a nap person. I have only taken one nap during this week, naps and me have never been friends. No matter how much I try lol. I do work from home, so that helps. I don't know that I would have went back this fast if I had to actually go somewhere besides my office right off the living room
