Feeling kind of nervous, and also a little scared. This is such a huge step, and is permanently life-altering. It is worth it though. 10am tomorrow is my surgery time, and I am looking forward to being in recovery!

I always feel like surgery is the easy part - I get knocked out and sleep the entire time! :D When you wake up, remember to walk and sip as much as you can. It'll help.

It is so worth it. I was super nervous before my surgery too. I didn't eat anything for two days before surgery. I couldn't sleep the night before. I actually had a panic attack when they started to put the IV in my hand. When going through recovery I did question why did I do this to myself.

One month later I am so pleased with my results. I definitely believe that I made the right decision. Nerves are nerves there's nothing you can really do about it besides relax and remember all the reasons why you chose to start this process in the first place.

It's common to be nervous, but soon you'll be like most of the rest of us--thankful we did it and knowing it was the best decision we ever made!
