My NUT was pretty good, but I definitely have adjusted my eating post-op based on what the successful vets here do.

I had no weight loss requirement prior to the surgery. I did have to stick to the pre-op diet and that my weight would prove it. (I did stick to it and lost 8 pounds in 2 weeks)
If you fall down you just have to get back up.
