Morning! Our hotel was busy last night and therefore I didn't sleep as well as I have been. We spent the whole day yesterday at a mototrial. I got in a ton of steps! I was within my calories again, but my choices weren't great. I love being on vacation but I'm looking forward to normal food again too.

Someone else can start a QOTD, as I've got nothing this morning!

M1: Coffee w/ H&H and Miralax

M2: Salmon w/ Cream Cheese

M3-M4: TBD

M5: Yogurt, although I keep saying I'll eat it and don't!

E: I got a run on the treadmill yesterday, plus lots of hiking steps. I'm hoping to so the same again today.

Good morning!

QOTD - What kind of climate do you live in? Would you prefer to live elsewhere?

we have four seasons. I've spent some time on Florida, and seasons were definitely something I missed. I actually wish we got a little more snow. I remember a lot more snow as a child. I don't like to drive in it, but I love it anyway.

B - latte, cottage cheese

L - chicken salad

S - chicken broth with unflavored protein powder (because I ordered more of the chocolate stuff and it hasn't been delivered)

D - kielbasa and sauerkraut

QOTD: We live in the arctic. We 100% would love to live somewhere else. Probably no farther south than mid-Atlantic. One of the reasons we're in TN is to assess how we like it here. It's notable that TN also gets nearly an hour more daylight per day than we do. That's huge!

Good morning! I am sleep deprived today after a good birthday celebration for DH, but then family drama in the middle of the night between adult children. Sigh...

QOTD: I live primarily in the Northeast where we have all 4 seasons, but it is usually a little milder on Cape Cod where I'm located because of the ocean. It is beautiful here, but I hate the cold and slogging around through ice and snow in the winter. So beginning this year we will be in Florida for approximately 4 months of the winter. Hopefully it will be warm and sunny most of the time when we are there. We are leaving a week from today to drive down, but will be back on Cape Cod for 3 weeks around Christmas.

1 year, 8 months post-op (maintenance). RETIRED (officially Monday, but done working)!

B: eggbeaters, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon

L: Ham and cheese

D: Leftover ahi tuna

S: cottage cheese, yogurt

Good morning everyone! I hope you all have a happy Sunday!

QOTD: I live in Florida, North Florida. I used to live in Baltimore and NY so I know snow. I don't miss living in snow, but I do miss seeing it. I would love to live in Florida over the winter but spend the summers in Washington state. I visited Yakima in the summer once and always thought that that is where I'd like to spend my summers.

M1: Smoked Salmon and Zucchini Lentil Pasta

M2: Remainder of my dinner wrap from last night (chicken, not pork)

M3: Triple Zero Oikos or a Chobani Yogurt Drink

M4: TBD and a scoop of protein powder

M5: Cod, green beans and kelp noodles and a smidgen of roasted cabbage

S: Quest Protein chips and possibly some dried edamame and another piece of jerky

E: Not much today.

Water and vits on track.

Snack- Premier protein and Danon L&F greek

E- Brisk but casual walk at the lake. Yesterday wiped me out!

If I try to run more than one day in a row, the 2nd day always sucks. Yesterday I ran 3 miles and it was like heaven. Today...3 miles and I was anticipating it being over. "They" say to run every other day and "they" probably know a little of what they are talking about!

Good morning! I'm off in a bit for a 7 mile walk on the beach with friends.

I checked on the status of my insurance approval for my hernia repair with the surgeon's office and I guess it was denied and they are scheduled for a peer to peer review next week. They have questions about how he is going to repair it. How is that something the insurance company should have any input on? We'll see.

QOTD: Our climate in southern CA is very Mediterranean. Mild all year long with rain generally only in winter and spring. When 75 and sunny is the norm, snow and really any interesting weather looks like a lot of fun!

B - coffee and yogurt

L - soup

D - BBQ

S - roasted broad beans, an apple
