I specifically posted, because I firmly believe there are many lurking here, not posting, following a similar food regimen to mine, yet too intimidated by the reactions i just received, to post like I did. & yes, there are opinions that 600-800 calories is too low, & will contribute to more challenging ability to stick to a healthy plan long term. But I don't disparage or question it, I respect it. My plan is to stay here, as it's a tool to my long term success. If my version fails, ill be the first to admit it, & take advice for turning it around. If I'm a success long term, ill share that as well.

I will continue to post, & I will continue to lose until I'm at goal, not 50%. If that means counting calories, & cutting calories, & admitting my current choices are not working @ some point, then that's what I'll do. I'm humble enough to eat crow when called for. Re dietician-sometimes those with distance from a situation are able to give great advice-especially if their advice is backed up by studies & statistics.

Read up on the credentials necessary to be a dietician versus nutritionist. MANY of them do not give science-based advice, much less advice that is applicable to the WLS population.

I'm good with MPH, RD, CDN. Time will tell for me. If people are shut down from expressing their truth, no matter what point in the game, then this board is useless. I think that everyone here is grown up enough, & responsible enough to sift, & sort through; mature enough to decide if I'm a delusional crackpot, or someone with something valid to say.

"Your truth" may be different from "medically-recommended best practices."

Nobody is calling you delusional or shutting you down; you seem to have a bit of a persecution complex. There has been respectful disagreement based on personal experience and years' observation on OH.

Recent post-ops have a LOT of information, some good and some bad, to sift through, and it's very easy for them to take bad advice to heart. THAT is where those of us who disagree with you are coming from.

I thought we were "all adults" here and everybody was able to handle differing opinions?

Huh, I guess that only applies to the adults who don't get their panties ina was and take their balk and go home when they don't like how things are shaking out.
