Back in the fat old days, we upgraded from our 25 year old pop up camper to a genuine (used) travel trailer. It was about a year before I began my bariatric voyage. We checked to make sure the floor would support my weight. It did. We checked to make sure I could sit at the table. I could, but it was tight. Today, I slid in and found tons of room. It is wonderful. I have more room here than I do in a lot of diners.

Good for you! That must feel so good!

I could fit in booths, barely, but I wouldn't be comfortable so I'd always go for a table if there was one available. I'm looking forward to sitting comfortably in any booth...though I'm sure I'm not going to be eating out too often.

I found I eat out quite a bit, mainly because of how much travel I have to do. I can often find something that is healthy, in line with my program, and even though it is always way too much, there are boxes available for the leftovers.

Every now and then I eat some really BAD food, but right afterwards, it is back to the salt mine, as it were. We can't ever be 100% for 100% of the time. But we can get close, and close is good enough.

Forget the space between your (not so much there, anymore, tummy and the edge of the table--which IS a wonderful thing-) Good for you, BUT---

LOOK-LOOK---at the seat cover visible under your legs! Amazing that enough excess weight lost moves our backsides onto a chair back where it belongs- Totally Cool.

Haha, I did notice that! You are right. I can see the seat, and I have a bony behind as well.
