Good morning, all! It's Wednesday - woo! For me Wednesday is fitness class day. I'm not sure if I'll be staying for yoga, but I'm looking forward to pilates. I'll make the decision once I'm there and see how my right leg is feeling.

QOTD: Who do you live with? (People, pets, anthropomorphized plants..)

1: protein shake
2: not a lot of leftovers, so it'll probably involve eggs
3: chicken bacon ranch quesadillas - I'll stick to skilleting up just the innards until the cheese gets crispy

liquids and vites: on track
exercise: pilates class and possibly yoga class as well

How about you? What's going on in your world?

I love Wednesdays - even though I have to work today and then two more days, only one of them is in the office...yay. It's still hot and soupy here - it's just plain gross.

QOTD: I live with my husband of 33 years (Michael). My son (Mikey) and his girlfriend (Bianca) have made our walk-out basement an apartment, so I'm not sure if they count or not. They are very independent and sometimes I can't even tell if they're home or not. My laundry is down there so I try to do laundry when I'm working at home and Bianca is at work - and they come upstairs for showers. Other than that, they are on their own. Once in a while they eat with us, but she works until 8 so they usually eat independently. Then, there's the love of my life - LOL - Reggie, my french bulldog. Sophie, my daughter's french bulldog spends a good amount of time at my house too. Luckily for me, my daughter and her husband own a house .7 miles from us - so they don't live in my house but they are close, which makes me happy, happy, happy.

B: bought some delicious cheddar at the farm stand...that and some thin crackers

L: turkey breast on salad

D: share a porkchop and leftovers from the turkey dinner on monday - squash, cukes, etc.

E: doubtful

L/V: probably fine

The only thing on my agenda right now is yoga. I may look for something else to do this afternoon but with the muggy air beach might be best again.

QOTD: Here on Cape Cod, I live with DH, DS (in finished basement), Chiquita (17 year old chihuahua) and Justice (3 year old chihuahua). DS might move to NH later this year and though I love him dearly I think that would be a good thing. In Florida, I live with DH, Justice and SIL. Chiquita is too old to make the trip so I don't know what we will do about her if DS moves. Well I do and physically the time is coming for her but I hate to contemplate it.

2 Years, 4 months post-op (maintaining at goal for 20 months)

Always lots of coffee...

B: eggs, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon

L: tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese

D: Leftover something again...

S: yogurt

My leg is feeling a lot better today, so I'm hopeful I can run tomorrow! I did opt to skip yoga, though.

QOTD: I live with my partners, Art and Lance. Art and I have lived together since 1997 and Lance joined us in 2008! Previously, we had three cats and a German Shepherd Dog but, sadly, they've all died of old age now. We will get a pair of kittens in the future, but we're planning on moving in 2020, so it makes sense to wait until after we move. Even if I really hate not having cats.

That's so interesting Gwen! Somehow I thought one of the menfolk was your son so I missed the fact that you're in a poly commitment. It's funny to think how many couples struggle to make long-term work, but you guys have made it work for this many years with a whole additional person to consider. It seems like that would take some evolved thinking and communication.

I don't know about the evolved thinking part, but it definitely takes a healthy relationship with Google calendar :D

Happy hump day! The kids are with my parents this week, so it's starting to feel a little too quiet around the house. I'm working late tonight so Nick is going out with friends and I'll have the house to myself when I get home.

QOTD: My husband Nick and our ten-year-old son Rylan and eight-year-old daughter Nyah.

B - coffee and protein

L - yogurt and almonds

S - small salad

D - crab legs and broccoli

E - weights with trainer

Thank you Liz! As a Jessica I went to school with dozens of girls with my name so I always wanted to name my kids something unique. Some of my relatives thought "Nyah" especially was a little odd but obviously I love it.
