Most of us here started our weight loss surgery journey with under 150 pounds to lose...some of us between 35 and 45BMI. All are welcome though. All different WLS are welcome too.

I was hoping that's what it was.  I have less than 100 pounds to lose and this is another wls for me.  I had the lapband and it was miserable-had to have it removed by emergency surgery in 2009 and now am having the RNY on the 29th of August.  I didn't gain all my weight back, but gained about 3/4 of it back :(   Thanks for the information!

It's for anyone really but the "lightweight" refers to those of us who were/are in the 35 to 40ish BMI. If post-op, we love to hear your experiences as they help those who are pre-op.

Welcome to the board, Lisa.

Welcome!

This is a wonderful, supportive board so keep coming back!

Good luck with your revision....have read about many who had revised to RNY after lapband and done well.
