GOAL REACHED!!!

You guys have been so supportive through my journey, I just needed to share my excitement. At my weekly weight in this morning, I hit my personal goal of 125 lbs and even lost a few more than that. I am so excited. I have been fighting the last 2 months with a pound here or there, scale going up and down but never below my goal weight. I went to see my surgeon 2 weeks ago and she said that I was probably done since I had lost so much so fast (as a light weight). Well, guess my body isn't quite done yet. I am now setting a 2nd goal of 115 lbs. If I can get there I will super happy and that will give me some wiggle room if I experience the dreaded bounce back. I am a few days shy of being 8 months post surgery. I would have never thought I would be here at this point. I am looking forward to my new lease on life. Thanks again for all the support that this board offers.

Hurray, hurray.  I'm kind of in the same place and have continued to lose very slowly until I am almost at the new goal (actually, it is about the 4th of a progression of goals).

congrats on your new life.
