Dietician just called from doctor's office
All was good except my iron which was 36 and s/b at leat 40 so I have to double up on that.
My vita D was 48. They say fine, but I've read Poet Kelly enough to know it would be better higher and I've already ordered my D from vitalady and recently started that.
B12 was 548
Folate was high
A1C was 5.4. OK but I would have liked it lower at this stage.
Cholesterol was 202 (close enough to 200 I guess) maybe it's the increase in protein/meat that has kept it over 200,
I'll get a copy of the rest of results when I go in and see them at the end of next month, but she says they are all fine.

Yeah it was done over the phone but she said the individual numbers on cholesterol were fine. At the moment I only take 29mg of Iron so I'm going to double up on it. I have the worst periods and really should get somethind done about them so being a bit low on iron doesn't surprise me.
Sometimes I miss my iron if I haven't spaced my calcium right, but I'm working on that too by switching the iron to the morning instead of before bed.....which reminds me I need to take my last dose of calcium......

If you are taking 50,000 once per week and 5,000 units every other day, that is equal to 65,000 units per week which is the same as 10,000 per day but if you want to increase your level, you could take 3 of the 5,000 unit capsules daily and not use the 50,000 unit capsules for awhile til you use up the 5000 units and that should help bring up your level
yeah she said they were fine, but I'd like to get it a bit lower. Genetics do play a part. I remember this MO woman whose cholesterol was fine, but her skinny hubby had to take meds for it...you never can tell.
I seem to remember my cholesterol trending high even when I was in the 140's. I'm going to focus more on chicken and fish and cut back on the red meat and see if that makes a difference.
