After 2 months I finally have internet.  :-) I am down 55 lbs and feeling great :-) Still strugle with the Protein intake but I will get there :-)

I hope everyone is doing great. I do have one question did anyone else had issues with their period after surgery? I must say I do have PCOS but I still had every month a circle just not every 30 days but i didt ovulate. The last 2 months before surgery and 2 months after surgery my period was on time like 33 days. Then in sep I only had brown discharge  same time my period should have been there but didnt think of much thought it might be hormone change, Well now this month my period didnt came at all and know I am a lil scared I might be pregnant ... I did test when i had the brown discharge and it wa negaive and i will do tomorrow to get some blood drown  to be sure. Didnt anyone have issues like that?

Thanks so much

How have you been doing with birth control?  It is very common to become very fertile after WLS, even if you haven't been able to get pregnant for years.  The hormonal changes can bring about ovulation.  Many surgeons recommend at least 2 reliable forms of birth control for at least a year after surgery.

Good luck to you and let us know how it turns out.

My periods have been a little wonky since surgery, but please make sure you are not preggers.   I dont track my periods because I have Essure and cant get pregnant.  I can only imagine that with the weightloss and the hormone changes that come with it coupled with PCOS, that your periods could be very weird.

Good to see you back and congrats on the weight loss!!

Mine have been very off to.  I had an IUD and didn't get a period at all, then had surgery and started spotting then had a period for 2 weeks.  I had my IUD removed and now am having another one going on 8 days now.  Ugh I liked it better when I didn't get one!  I would do a pregnancy test just to be sure but periods can be irregular for sure!
