Sleeved and back home!

VSG on 12/26/12

I was sleeved yesterday (12/26/12) and was home today @11am. They gave me 2 liters of IV fluids before I left for home. My tummy is so bloated from the IV but that should go down in a few days.

Just feels so great to be home. My doctor already okayed me for protein drinks so that is helping. Drinking lots of water (very very slowly!) Can't wait to get a shower tomorrow...I'm sure that will do wonders.

They weighed me right before surgery and I had lost 11 pounds since starting the low carb pre-op diet. I'm sure I've gained it all back in water weight.

Glad it went well and your home so soon! I had gained 10 lbs of liquid weight after my surgery. Best of luck
