I can't say people didn't warn me...anxious to start feeling better.  I keep telling myself it must be because I'm getting OLD!  Still a little hunched over by the end of the day.  And I'm still dealing with terrible muscle spasms.  Most nights I end up on the couch so not to disturb my husband (he has to get up and go to work)  I see the PS tomorrow.  I'm sure he will tell me that it just takes time, however I feel like time is crawling.  Just wanted to check in with you and let you know what's going on.   Soon I will post a picture for you to see my new bikini TEEHEE!

Hope you are feeling better soon.  I'm a little jealous, not of the surgery but of a flat tummy!!!!

The "hunched over" part will end soon... The tightness will last for a few years.  I didn't have spasms, but if I tried to do much that required stomach muscles - nope...

Just take it easy and move slowly.  It WILL get better - I promise!

Jody, do you remember how long you wore your compression garment? PS told me today I don't need to wear it any longer.

I wore mine quite awhile.  I actually liked wearing it.  It made me feel a little more "secure" and definitely helped with the swelling. I ended up wearing it at night and not during the day.  The Dr told me to do it the other way around, but I had a hard time fitting it under my normal work clothes.

Jody, I tried NOT wearing the spanks and it's really uncomfortable.  I tried NOT to sleep in it and that was uncomfortable too UGH.  Needless to say I'm wearing around the clock with the exception of an hour or so break (and I really don't like not having it on).  So my question (if you can remember) is I'm having issues with the midriff section of the spanks rolling down when I'm sitting and is killer tight around my waist when it does that.  I'm embarrassed to keep pulling it up when I'm out with friends.  I got the size small.  It's comfortable when it's not rolling down.  Did you have similar issues?  Did you just deal with it?  BTW, it doesn't roll down when I'm sleeping.  Also, I got up the nerve today to watch a video on extended tummy tucks...now I know why I'm feeling the way that I'm feeling.  It's a good thing I didn'****ch that video  (www.youtube.com/watch?v=WL0tYC-uwjc) before having the surgery, I would never of gone through with it.  Thanks for always replying to my questions.

Oh Dear... I watched a Utube video on TT's too AFTER I had mine - and I'm with you, I  may not have had it done if I watched it beforehand!!  LOL

I had an actual compression garment that had eyehooks.  Almost like a girdle/corset.  I didn't have problems with it rolling.  I can definitely see how it would bother you.  I have some spanx now that roll and I hate it.

I did go into spanx after awhile, but didn't get the highwaisted ones, just kept it on the lower part of my abdomen.

I'm not sure what to tell you about it.  How about trying a shorter-waisted spanx?  Did you have the vertical cut too?  If so, and your spanx are rolling, I would think that wouldn't be good for putting pressure on the incision site.
