Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!   Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES  during the Honeymoon Period.

I feel I need to repeat this:  I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!!  I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them while I'm not having a flare up.   It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!

Thank Goodness it's Thursday...Only one more day to go!!!!  Normally work slows down before now but schools are back in and families are settling into a routine but this year our local district closed some schools, made a middle school,  consolidated and aren't starting until the 8th.  It's been crazy because so many families have to change their day care because of the school and bus changes.  It's actually been a nightmare for some families who have kids who would normally be in the same school but because of the new middle school they have to have 2 different day care plans.

Breakfast:

Protein:       Matrix Mint Cookie  35g

Snack:         Bag of Mixed Nuts

Lunch:         Vegetable Beef Soup....but where was the beef?

Snack:         Beef Jerky Stick

Snack:        Matrix Mint Cookie  23g     (Probably doubled)

Snack:        Nature Valley Almond Crunch Bar--YUM!! (ONLY buy the Gluten Free)

Dinner:       Stuffed Pork Chop....very small amount of stuffing

Snack:        3 TB. of unpopped Plain Popcorn (didn't start this until I was on Maintenance)

Some days I am starving and other days I have to remind myself to eat.  I've found that eating numerous small meals/snacks seem to work for me.

I know salads make me feel hungry right after I eat them.  If I cut back on toppings then I'm starving and if I put extra toppings on it then I crave more.

Thanks for the tips!  I am definitely paying the price for letting carbs back into my life. :(  I'm doing pretty good this week though... getting back on track!

I do know having all girls made life easier than running to two different sports, to different types of stores....etc.  It's even hard with having GD's and GS's.

Sounds Good Gina!
