weight loss: 28lbs post op, 15lbs pre op

Today was my 2 week post op check with my doctor. I have no pain, am able to start an exercise regime and my doctor is quite proud of my weight loss so far. He told me that I will not look like the same person and put a lot of emphasis on that. I'm not sure how I feel about that statement. I'm just now able to eat purée foods and maintain a full liquid diet. I'm nervous. I don't know how much I can eat or if I'm supposed to feel something different. Should I portion out everything? I'm learning still and I'm hoping my nutritionist will be able to help me meal plan/prep and answer these questions for me. I can't really count on anyone else I know who's had this surgery because I'm learning everyone is different. I've had a serious reaction to milk and it just does not sit well in my stomach now. I feel like I could tolerate whole foods (if chewed well) but I'm scared. I also plan on following my doctors directions as well. Anyone else end up in this weird "limbo" stage of not knowing? I feel like I'm just hanging on for my next appointment.
