Bump in the road today. Denied..Then,oooops.

I recieved a call today stating that my secondary insurance denied me because of something in the notes written about something dealing with my stomach. I highly trust my pcp and whatever comes back in labs, she explains it to me.Have not heard of this.

The insurance coordinator says that she can't believe that they denied me for that when it has'nt shown in my previous weight management reports. She made an appointment for me for 2mrw morning for the h.pylori test.
She said that this test is usually done after a patient is approved but she wants me to get the test done because the insurance company is only finding an issue with the H.Pylori test. She stated that my test could come back as early as friday and the latest being June 7th. Test comes back negative,will resubmit for approval(will take 7-21 days for a response).

Test comes back positive, will be placed on antibiotics for 2 weeks,re-test for HP(5 day turnaround time), then resubmit for approval. Was also told that when approved, It looks like I could have a surgery late July,early August.
********update*******3:20 pm. My pcp stated that she does'nt have that in my notes. I called the insurance,jumped over top of heads and wanted an explanation. Was told my decision WILL be changed to approved upon the test result of the HP test. Someone made a mistake and NOW they REQUIRE all MD Medicaid pre-opers to have this done before surgery instead of after.CURRENTLY IN PENDING STATUS. They made my wig lose it curls with that mistake.
My God is always in control.
