I can see my neck

So happy I can finally see my neck

not much more weight loss I haven't been ,exercising or eating right....shame on me....but I going to get back focused.
had my 1st fill on 5/23/12 and ill have my 2nd fill on 7/11/11 so I'll see how that goes!!!

Down 15lbs since surgery dt 3/19/12 ...yaay

Its been a week, 8 days to be exact feeling good !!! I was 288lbs at weigh in b4 my surgery, I had to stop taking my water pills pre surgery due to the lowering of my potassium. I weighed myself this morning and I was 273lbs. I am excited I havent taken any of my medications for diabetes, high bloodpressure or for anything else. I feel great !!!

3/19/12 Lapband Surgery was a Success !!!!

Well I had the surgery on 3/19/12 at 11am it lasted until 1:30pm they tell me because I was heavily sedated. I was so nervous but the medicine in my IV took care of that!!! I and being released today @5pm thank god I'm ready to go home. You get no rest in the hospital they wake u up every time you get into to a good deep sleep. I'll keep you all updated and I'll add some pictures this week.

I Didn't Have Surgery on Feb. 6th 2012

Update .....went in for lapband surgery on 2/6/12 and to my surprise my potassium level was 2.0 too low and my surgeon wouldn't do the surgery. He said thats too risky so I spend 2 days in the hospital with potassium burning my veins thru my IV....horrible feeling I was crying, and uncomfortable. I am glad he didnt risk my life for a another paycheck. Dr. Sharma is great!!! So I will have the surgery in 2 weeks.This was the fault of the hospital pre admission testing dept, they saw my potassium was low 2 weeks ago and didn't notify my doctor or me    :-(

Excited & Scared at the same time

It's finally that time...on monday 2/6/2012 I will be having the Lap-band Surgery lords willing.

I keep second guessing myself, that I have went from 320 to 272 on my own and if I stick to my new eating habits I could lose the weight naturally................NOT>>>>>>> I know I need this. I have been researching and waiting to get some type of WLS for over 14 years. I have teenage children and a grandson I need to be healthy for plus my loving husband. The only thing now is that I'm not working and can be off for 6wks I should have chosen the RNY???? I don't know anymore, I guess the lapband will do fine for me. OH just pray for me and send me messages of guidance. I'm feeling lost right now.  2 of my family members had the lapband and they look great  one went from a size 28 to size 16/18 in 10months the other one was a size 16/18 to now a size 11 in 6 months. I know that GOD has me and everything will be alright.
