Well, Well, Well, what a wonderful day,
I had one busy day today it was all worth it; I had my PRE-OP visit today(((phewww))) appt. 9:00am Pre-Op paperwork for surgery, did I say paperwork boyz and girlz(((phewww))) 9:30 Lab work for Pre-OP Surgery, Weighed in 12pounds litter then the lost weigh in(yeep)blood work, EKG Chest X-Ray, MRSA (swab for Staph infection 12:30 IVC filter Consultant, from there to pre admission, just as I thought it was over get there and I’m ask if I had already had the ABG while @ Patient Testing, I’m like what the freak is a ABG(Arterial Blood Gases) so you know the smart azz clerk was like if you don’t know then you must haven’t had it because you would have remember that pain…so am like in my mind damn some more needles… off to get the ABG done…LORDY!!! 
How Mercy, boyz and girlz I was seated with my arm extended and my wrist resting on a small pillow, the nurse is feeling wrist like she checking for a pulse, get her little alcohol pad wipe the area, so she says “1, 2, 3, lil stick” I don’t feel a thing am thing that wasn’t so bad, I looked cause I turned my head away to not see her stick so I turn to look she still feeling, so I say I thought you were finish she say no I lost it… so she counts again “1, 2, 3, lil stick”, I didn’t feel the stick I look this chick still feeling so she give me a ball to squeeze, so am squeezing and squeezing she starts counting again, “1, 2, 3 lilll stick going in”, and its in and still in and she still feeling applying pressure, so I turn and look @ her again and I guess she read my facial expression so she says are you alright, I say no I’m about to fall out…lol…lol 
she like oh no don’t do that, so I said do this have to be done…lol so I say don’t you think its time to call for back up now…lol...lol you done stuck me twice so she says let me see if somebody else can get it so I heard the nurse in the next room telling the person she had been doing that for 41yrs so me being me said call that that who been doing it for 41yrs…lol…lol so she did and the lady came but gave her this look like heifer am tired of helping you…lol so she finished what she were doing and came, of course she had to do the other arm…and herrr she go “u going to feel a stickyyy so she say I can’t believe its that deep let me know if am hurting you, so finally she say blood blood, thank you JESUS!” I said Yes LORD!...lol.
So now off to see the (Wizard) the Anesthesiologist which was the last stop everything lies in his hands he has the last say so, Of course am placed in a holding room in walks he(umm umm) him looked good and young(no am not a cougar) but the thought was nice…lol.. Any hoot introduce himself and asked the question “do you know what they sent you hear”, am like talking to the little people in my head...lol let me answer this sensible (he is cute) so I said other then it being part of the procedure to see if I am @ any risk that would cause me not to be able to be given anesthesia, he says yes it this is something we do now cause years ago we didn’t do this and people were having problems after being given anesthesia.. so he do his little examining measure the neck look down your throat am like lord I hope my breath not kicking…lol mind I had eaten since the night before so he finish reading doing his check list so I say how long you been doing this he tells me his history then he say way (bingo) I say because you look so young, of course he is blushing and say am not young am older then I look but thanks, so he says I see you have a birthday tomorrow, I said sure do, he says Happy Birthday, and if your age wasn’t all over this paper work I would of never guess you were 47 I said yeah getting to be an old lady he says well keep doing what your not doing Smoking and Drink you will live a longer time… I felt so relax at that point about my decision to do WLS. He said according to our point scale I see your will do just fine and are not at any risk…(((pheww) I was like thank you I feel relieved now, So he says Well I will see you on the 26th, and enjoy your birthday. He made me forget all about the pain in both my wrist from the ABG while he was there then he left and the pain came…lol.
