Friday the 13th!The first step towards my NEWLY RECLAIMED LIFE!
I had my realize band put in Friday, May the 13th 2011! I was terrified, but once again God carried me through it and I made it!
3 days post-op, today, I feel great! Recovery has been easier than most colds I have caught! I took the pain meds for Friday and Saturday and haven't felt the need to take any yesterday or today.
The liquid diet SUCKS, and although I have no hunger, I do feel weak at times, but belly hurts and rumbles, and my head hurts at times. Not to mention that I obviously didn't get to be 80 lbs overweight for only eating when I am hungry so I still do need to have enough self-control to deny my urges.
The GREAT news is that I KNOW that this is the edge I needed to be victorious! I feel as I haven't felt in years! I have NO DOUBT that this is it for me and I am TAKING OFF!
Not feeling hungry is incredibly liberating, and knowing this is not a temporary feeling conditioned on my on and
off will power is as freeing and empowering as I have ever felt! I feel renewed! Nothing can hold me back now!
