Wooo Hooo. . . .finally!!!

The scale is moving again, 177 today. . .I haven't been that weight that since I was about 16 years old!!!!!!!   So that puts me at exactly 60 lbs down from my RNY preop weight, and 110 pounds down from my highest recorded weight, yay!

I just went to my 25 year high school reunion this past Saturday, I will post that pic in a bit.  It was casual so it was a jeans and fuzzy Uggs night lol, but I am smaller now than when I graduated high school, everyone was telling me how wonderful I looked, and it was a bit awkward, but also nice to hear from my former classmates!  (I went to a private all-girl high school)

The whole "men" issue is getting interesting in an awkward sort of way.  My ex wants me back, my current BF is having a fit over the extra attention I am now getting, and I am trying to figure out how to deal with it all and not hurt anyone's feelings, especially when I tell them thanks but no thanks. . .awkward!!!!!  This is not something I foresaw as being a problem lol.  I am used to being "invisible" NOT the center of attention!!!!  I used to think I would like the attention that all the "skinny" girls would get, but nope, not liking it so much, I'm trying to stay "invisible" but it's not working out too well yet!

Have been having terrible headaches for the last few weeks and I have a history of migraines.  I had to have an MRI last week, and they found an "abnormality" in my left frontal lobe so now I have to go back and have another MRI and an MRA, which checks the blood flow in the arteries and veins in your neck and head.  The radiologist is concerned it is some type of a bleed so I guess we will see.  I am hoping it is old, maybe an injury that never healed from one of the car accidents I was in. . .oh joy. . I get to go back in the tube while they bang it with a sledgehammer and it sounds like I am in the middle of a video game. . . . .should be fun. . . . .NOT!

So, the moral of today's story is:  the scale is moving down again, yay, I am super happy about that!

Oh yeah, and my hemoglobin A1c dropped from 7.1% to 6.7% so I am ALMOST out of the diabetic range, now THAT is some good news!!!!
