No more needles for me, well, unless there's a tattoo involved.

FINALLY done with the blood thinner shots as of today.  Although I can honestly say that I was starting to get pretty good at administering them.  Next step to loose the socks.  I have been wanting to wear some carpi's that I had from my "little bit thinner" days and I just can't pull them off with having to wear these blood clot socks 24/7.

I am looking forward to eating some more variety after Sunday's 4 weeks anniversary.  I am also a bit intimated as well.  I have been doing excellent with food and beverage tolerances and I would love to keep that up.  The larger issue however is that for the last week and a half my weight loss has been coming down in ounces instead of pounds.  My physiologist told me not to worry since the weight IS still coming off.  It's just so frustrating since I have been waiting for so long to be thinner and healthier. I'm always questioning what I am or have done wrong.  I had high hopes about being one of those people that has already dropped 40+ pounds at their 6 week follow-up.  The nurse for Dr. Patel, Beth, was a bit unhappy with me for weighing in in the first place.  Come on now, someone give me the name of one person that actually waiting the entire 6 weeks without checking their progress.

On the bright side, over the last couple of days I have not been wearing my CPAP machine and there has been no report of snoring.  I have been sleeping soundly through the night in a dream filled sleep.  Good thing too.  I felt like Hannibal Lecter wearing that thing.
