I  am a 30 year old Air Force wife and stay at home mother.  I have three children, McKayla (11), Derrick (9) and Wyatt (5).  I am currently living in England.  My husband of 12 years, Adam, is based at RAF Mildenhall here in the United Kingdom. We've almost hit our eight month mark of a four years tour.  I am finding it very hard to adjust here and hope there are nothing but positive changes for the future.

History~I have been overweight or obese ever since I hit puberty.  I am the youngest of four and the daughter of a single parent. With my mom working two jobs to support our family, I have always had unhealthy eating habits.  I have a history of depression and no motivation. I have always wanted to be healthier and more athletic, but could never get my ass in gear to do it.

Once upon a time I did find a miracle drug after having my second child. Xenadrine with ephedra, with that I lost 50 lbs. over just a few months.  I had never felt better.  I was eating less than my two year old and hitting the gym six days a week with all of this energy. As soon as it was banned in the United States I almost immediately gained back all the weight I had lost and then some. Then my husband got orders to Okinawa, Japan. It was so hot and humid there, you could fry and egg on my head. I had myself on lock down and went back into depression mode. After a few years, I started getting out more and being active, just in time to get pregnant for our third child. More weight, less mobility, and the circle continues. I started the process for the gastric in Okinawa, to find out after jumping through all of TriCare's hoops, they didn't perform the surgery on island. So almost two years later and another circus, I have finally not only completed the process, but have been approved.  Surgery scheduled for March 6th, 2011 (next weekend).
