I just got back from my second appointment with the bariatric doc and NUT. The doc upped my Invokana and wants me to discontinue my insulin. The NUT wants me to work on a couple of things. There is a slim, I mean slim, chance that my dealings with my local NUT might count towards my 6 month requirement. If so, then I might be able to get the surgery now! WOOHOO!!!! Crossing my fingers! But even so, we are looking at December for the surgery. I am on cloud 9! The only thing that scares me is the 2 week liquid diet. But, I did find out that Pure protein shake mix is delicious! So I might not have too much troubles sticking to it. I have heard that you can have veggies on it, that would work for me!
